The January 3rd deadline to register for the annual Vortex Videogame Conference & Competition is fast approaching. With thousands of dollars in prizes and career-changing mentorships & distribution opportunities, Vortex is the pre-eminent forum for emerging digital media entrepreneurs where aspiring videogame developers have the opportunity to craft their business and technical skills through education sessions at the Vortex Boot Camp taking place this year on January 19, 2011.

Vortex returns to the hip 99 Sudbury location for Boot Camp and Round II of the Competition. As well the prestigious Bell Lightbox in downtown Toronto will play host to Round I of the Competition and the finals. All Competition entries received by January 3rd will be reviewed and assessed for participation by local senior industry members and creative directors.
